A figure returns to the studio years later

A hand reaches for familiar carving tools

A hand almost picks up a carving tool

The hand sets the carving tool back

A hand approaches the BLOT mark

One tear lands beside the heart of the mark

The visitor leaves the studio

The stain on the BLOT print dries

An orb on the BLOT print grows darker

Impossible depth appears through the heart opening

A printed orb casts an impossible shadow

The bottom orb rises from the paper

The BLOT mark rises from the print
